About Me

Four years ago, when I was a freshman in college.  I had to create a wordpress site and blog about the many uses of Tumblr.  I decided it would be a good idea to make my own blog where I would post my writing, of course that blog fell by the wayside almost immediately after creating my first post.  I completely forgot about this site, despite using wordpress to create other blogs for classes.

Not too long ago, I started working for a handbag company and while playing around with Polyvore trying to learn how to screencap on a mac (I’m a PC type of girl, sorry) I decided I would send it to my wordpress account to see if that would help me.  It didn’t, but when I checked my email after lunch, I had several likes and a new follower.  Apparently people were interested in a set I thought nobody would really care about seeing.  Suddenly, I felt like I could actually keep a blog going, if people were interested in a set that I made with the intentions of editing, maybe they would be interested in what I had to say as well and maybe even things that I have actually created.

It’s still a long ways from perfect, but I’m proud of myself for at least stepping up and keeping something up.

Who Am I?

Well good question, turns out that’s a harder question to answer than I originally thought, thanks to a question my advisor asked me the other day.  First and foremost, I’m a student who is currently working on an internship doing Advertising and PR for a handbag company.  That, like this blog, was something I just fell into.  I never imagined working in fashion, up until recently I never considered myself a fashionable person, but this is quite honestly the most fun thing I have ever done.

When I’m not interning, I work for a church doing their PR and well as bulletin production and I also work part-time as a daycare teacher.  When I’m not doing any of that, I’m sleeping, desperately trying to keep up with my favorite shows and with my friends or working on whatever project catches my attention, be it writing, art, or what have you.  It’s fun and there is never a dull moment.
